Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 15, 2026
Medical Database, Inc., a California corporation (“Medical Database, We, Us”), the owner of medicaldatabase.com (the “Website”), respects the privacy of its members and visitors (“you”, “user”) to the Website. To protect online privacy, Medical Database has implemented the following privacy policy.
This privacy policy sets out how Medical Database will use and protect any information that you share with Medical Database when using the Website. The Website is intended for visitors located in the United States and is not directed to visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or other jurisdictions outside the United States.
What We Collect
When you visit the Website, we may collect the following information:
- name and job title
- contact information including email address
- demographic information such as postcode, preferences and interests
- other information relevant to user surveys and/or offers
Any data Medical Database collects is used to help us better serve you and improve our Website’s content.
What We Do With The Information We Gather
We require this information to understand your needs and provide you with a better service, and in particular for the following reasons:
- Internal record keeping.
- We may use the information to improve our products and services.
- We may periodically send promotional emails about new products, special offers or other information which we think you may find interesting using the email address which you have provided.
- From time to time, we may also use your information to contact you for market research purposes. We may contact you by email, phone, fax or mail. We may use the information to customize the website according to your interests.
- We may use aggregate information for marketing purposes and may provide that information to our marketing partners.
Medical Database may share information among sites that it owns or controls, but is always protected under the terms of this Privacy Policy.
Non-Personal Information We Collect About You
Even if you do not register or purchase a membership with Medical Database, we may collect non-personal information about your use of our Website—information that is not traceable back to any individual and cannot be used to identify an individual (“Non-Personal Information”). For example, click stream information (a record of all the pages you have visited during your visit to a particular website or the services you accessed from the site or from an email). Click stream information is associated with your browser and not with you personally. It records the archives of your browser, is Non-Personal Information, as is information such as gender, age, city, and state when not linked with other personally identifiable information.
Personally identifiable information is information that can be traced back to an individual (contrast with Non-Personal Information and aggregate Information) (“Personally Identifiable Information”). Examples of Personally Identifiable Information include your name, home address, telephone number, email address, and Social Security number. If other pieces of information are linked to Personally Identifiable Information, they also become Personally Identifiable Information. For example, if you use a nickname to chat online and give out your real name while chatting, your nickname becomes Personally Identifiable Information when linked with other Personally Identifiable Information.
Security
There is no such thing as “guaranteed security,” whether online or offline. Having established this fact, Medical Database is committed to ensuring that your information is secure to the highest level employed by websites offering similar products and services. In order to prevent unauthorized access or disclosure, we employ generally accepted industry standards and suitable physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.
How We Use Cookies
A cookie is a small file placed on your device by a website. The only cookies we set ourselves are two strictly necessary cookies, cookie_consent and ad_consent, which remember your cookie choices for up to 365 days so we do not ask you again on every visit.
Analytics and advertising cookies are set only if you allow them through our cookie banner or Cookie Settings. With your permission, Google Analytics sets cookies (such as _ga) that help us understand how visitors use the Website, and Google Ads sets cookies (such as _gcl_au) that help us measure whether an ad led to a form submission. If you decline, or later withdraw your consent, we delete these cookies. See the Google Analytics and Google Ads sections below for details.
We do not use cookies to track your activity on other websites, and we do not link information collected through cookies to your name, email address, or other contact details.
You Can Decline/Disable Cookies
You can choose to accept or decline cookies. Most web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually modify your browser setting to decline cookies if you prefer. This may prevent you from taking full advantage of the Website. You can also change your choices at any time using Cookie Settings in the footer.
Links To Other Websites
Our Website may contain links to other websites of interest. However, once you have used these links to leave our site, you should note that we do not have any control over those other websites and their operation. Therefore, we cannot be responsible for the protection and privacy of any information which you provide whilst visiting such sites, and such sites are not governed by this privacy statement. You should exercise caution and review the privacy statements applicable to the websites in question.
Certain content and services which may be offered to you through our Website are served on websites hosted and operated by a company other than Medical Database (“Third Party Websites”). Medical Database does not disclose your Personally Identifiable Information to these Third-Party Websites without your consent; however, you should be aware that any information you disclose once you access these Third-Party Websites is not subject to Medical Database’s Privacy Policy. Medical Database does not endorse and is not responsible or liable for the privacy practices of these Third-Party Websites. You should review the privacy policy posted on these Third-Party Websites to understand how they collect and use your Personally Identifiable Information. Medical Database will notify you when you are about to leave our Website and enter one of these Third-party Websites, either by requiring you to click on a link or by notifying you on the site before you visit the third-party site. Medical Database may also provide links to websites provided by Third Party Websites that have business arrangements with Medical Database to pay commissions based on sales of products or services generated through Medical Database. We do not control the use by these Third-Party Websites of cookies or similar technologies, or how they manage the Non-Personal Information they gather through them.
Controlling Your Personal Information
You may choose to restrict the collection or use of your Personal Identifiable Information in the following ways:
- whenever you are asked to fill in a form on our Website, simply click the box provided to indicate that you do not want the information to be used by anybody for direct marketing purposes
- if you have previously agreed to our usage of your Personally Identifiable Information for direct marketing purposes, you may revoke such consent at any time by writing to or emailing us at info@medicaldatabase.com. Please allow at least ten business days for such revocation to go into effect.
Medical Database will not sell, distribute or lease your Personally Identifiable Information to third parties unless we have your permission or are required by law to do so. We may use your Personally Identifiable Information to send you promotional information about third parties which we think you may find interesting if you opt in to such communications.
Google Analytics
Our Website may use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC (“Google”). Medical Database does not provide any Personally Identifiable Information to Google Analytics. With your permission, Google Analytics uses cookies to help the Website analyze how users use our Website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the Website (including your IP address) will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the Website, compiling reports on Website activity for Website operators, and providing other services relating to Website activity and internet usage. Google may also transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process the information on Google’s behalf. Google will not associate your IP address with any other data held by Google. Until you accept Analytics cookies, Google Analytics runs in a restricted, cookieless mode: no analytics cookies are set, and Google receives only basic technical information such as your IP address, browser type, and the page visited. You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser; however, if you do this, you may not be able to use the full functionality of this Website. Analytics cookies are set only if you allow them through our cookie banner or Cookie Settings, and you can withdraw that permission at any time.
Google Ads Conversion Tracking
If you consent, we use Google Ads to track whether visits to this site resulted from an ad and led to a form submission. Until you opt in, the Google tag runs with advertising storage, ad personalization, and ad user data disabled, and no advertising cookies are set or conversions recorded. Google Ads, like Google Analytics, still receives the same basic, cookieless page-load signal (such as your IP address and the page visited), and we do not use it for ad personalization. This conversion tracking records only that a submission occurred — it does not share your name, email address, or the contents of your message with Google. You may withdraw this consent at any time via Cookie Settings in the footer.
If you believe that any information Medical Database possesses regarding you is incorrect or incomplete, please email us as soon as possible at info@medicaldatabase.com. We will correct any information found to be incorrect as soon as practicable.
Google reCAPTCHA
We use Google reCAPTCHA on our Contact and Request Demo forms to help prevent spam and abuse. reCAPTCHA is necessary for those forms to function, so it is not gated behind the cookie banner the way Analytics and Advertising cookies are. Using a form protected by reCAPTCHA sends certain information from your browser, such as your IP address, to Google. Google's use of this information is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.
Your California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (collectively, the “CCPA”), gives you the following rights regarding your personal information:
- Right to Know — the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the sources of that information, and the purposes for which it is used.
- Right to Delete — request deletion of personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain legal exceptions.
- Right to Correct — request correction of inaccurate personal information we maintain about you.
- Right to Opt-Out of Sale or Sharing — direct us to stop “selling” or “sharing” your personal information. Medical Database does not sell personal information. We do “share” personal information with Google Ads for cross-context behavioral advertising purposes, but only if you have opted in to Advertising cookies through our cookie banner.
- Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information — we do not use sensitive personal information for any purpose beyond what is necessary to provide our services.
- Right to Non-Discrimination — we will not deny you goods or services, charge you a different price, or provide a different level of service because you exercised any of these rights.
Categories of personal information we have collected or shared in the preceding 12 months: identifiers such as name, email address, and phone number that you provide to us directly; and, whether or not you opt in, basic technical information that Google’s tags receive on each page load (your IP address, browser type, and the page visited), sent without cookies or advertising identifiers; and, only if you opt in through our cookie banner, additional internet or other electronic network activity information (such as pages visited and interactions with our Website via Analytics) and information about whether an advertisement led to a form submission on our Website (via Advertising/Google Ads).
How to exercise your rights. You can opt out of “sharing” at any time using the Your Privacy Choices link or Cookie Settings in the footer of our Website, or by emailing us at info@medicaldatabase.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing certain requests. You may designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf by providing us with written proof of that authorization.
Verification and response times. To protect your information, we will verify your request by matching the details you give us (such as your name and email address) to information we already hold. We will confirm receipt of your request within 10 business days and respond within 45 days. If we need more time, we may extend that period once by another 45 days and will tell you why. We will not charge a fee to process a request unless it is excessive or repeated.
Data retention. We keep information you submit through our forms (such as name, email address, and message contents) for as long as needed to respond to you and to maintain our business records, and then delete or de-identify it unless the law requires us to keep it longer. Our cookie-preference cookies last up to 365 days. Analytics data held by Google is kept according to the retention setting in our Google Analytics account, and we do not use it to identify you.
Do Not Track. Our Website honors the Global Privacy Control signal described below. It does not respond to the older “Do Not Track” browser setting, because there is no common standard for how to interpret it.
Global Privacy Control. Our Website honors the Global Privacy Control (“GPC”) signal. If your browser or a browser extension sends a GPC signal, we treat that as a valid request to opt out of “sharing” and will not enable Advertising cookies for that visit, regardless of any prior consent choice.
Privacy Of Children
The Federal Trade Commission has issued special laws protecting the collection and transfer of the personal information of minors on the Internet. Medical Database is committed to protecting the privacy of minors. Neither Medical Database nor any of its services are designed or intended to attract children under the age of 13. We do not collect Personally Identifiable Information from any person we actually know to be under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under the age of 16.
Medical Database’s Operations And Maintenance Contractors
Medical Database’s operations and maintenance contractors sometimes have limited access to your Personally Identifiable Information in the course of providing products or services to Medical Database. These contractors include vendors and suppliers who provide us with technology, services, and/or content for the operation and maintenance of our Website. Unless you have opted out of receiving emails and newsletters from Medical Database, these contractors also may have access to your email address for the purpose of sending newsletters or special promotions to you on our behalf or to send emails to you for purposes of conducting market research on our behalf. Access to your Personally Identifiable Information by these contractors is limited to the information reasonably necessary for the contractor to perform its limited function for Medical Database. We also contractually require that our operations and maintenance contractors (1) protect the privacy of your Personally Identifiable Information consistent with this Privacy Policy, and (2) not use or disclose your Personally Identifiable Information for any purpose other than providing us with products and services as required by law.
Membership
When you agree to license materials on the Medical Database through a paid membership, you may be asked to provide Personally Identifiable Information. This Personally Identifiable Information is used for Medical Database’s internal purposes only and will not be released to third parties for any reason. Medical Database may place a cookie on your computer as a result of your membership to be used only for the benefit of your use of the Website. We do not receive, collect, or store any credit card or financial account numbers. You will be directed to a different website for the processing of any credit card transactions.
Except as described in this Privacy Policy or as specifically agreed to by you, Medical Database will not disclose any Personally Identifiable Information or personal health information it gathers from you on our Website. We may only release Personally Identifiable Information or personal health information to third parties:
- to comply with valid legal requirements such as a law, regulation, search warrant, subpoena, or court order; or
- in special cases, such as in response to a physical threat to you or others, to protect property, or defend or assert legal rights.
In the event that we are legally compelled to disclose your Personally Identifiable Information or personal health information to a third party, Medical Database will attempt to notify you unless doing so would violate the law or court order.
When your Personally Identifiable Information is combined with known health characteristics, it becomes Personal Health Information. We do not collect Personal Health Information.

Protection Of Information
